Are we required to sign up? – Short answer no, but next year the show will be mandatory.
Are we required to pay all at once? - Nope! We offer payment plans for the gym show. BUT all students need to be sized for their leotard by April 17th with a down payment of $50 paid, so please see the front asap to get started.
When is the final payment due?- May 22nd (day of rehearsal)
Do we need to pay for tickets or is admission free? - 2 tickets are included in the $105 charge. This is for family/friends NOT the participating gymnast. Additional tickets can be purchased. $7 advanced purchase by June 4th. $10 day of event at the door. Children 6 and under are free but everyone else in family needs a ticket. There is no limit on ticket purchases.
What if I have more than one child in classes? What is the price? - The price is still $105 per child. Although this seems like a lot the gym show makes no profit. We have to rent a container truck, chairs/tables/sound system, pay for decorations and leotards, and much more to put on an exciting show.
Will my kids be in different sessions? - Although we try our best to schedule students at the same time as siblings, it is not a guarantee. We will release assigned sessions by April 24th as well as assigned rehearsal times.
Do we need to buy equipment at home for my kids to practice? - No, students will have ample time to practice within their regular weekly class. Please try to regularly attend class so they do not miss routine practices. There will also be a run-through rehearsal on May 22nd.
When does my child get their show leotard? - We hand out leotards the week of the gym show to avoid them being lost or misplaced.
Can my child wear shorts? Make up? Do they need their hair a certain way? - Shorts are optional, we recommend they wear plain black, blue or red color if possible. Make up and hair is also at parent’s discretion. Hair just needs to be up and out of face.
Is the show recorded? - No, we do not record the show. We will be posting updates throughout the day on social media. Parents are more than welcome to take pictures and record their child at their own discretion.
Are Masks Mandatory? In short, no they are not. Athletes and Coaches are not required to have them on inside the gym. We are leaving it up to parent discretion if you want to have one on in the viewing area during the show. We no longer require temperature checks upon arrival but still require hand sanitizing.
Deposit or Full Payment can be paid online via the parent portal, however you must still come to the front desk to be sized for the leotard and to fill out the paperwork!
