Happy and Healthy New Year Families!

A new year brings exciting things! We are implementing some changes and updates for Spring as well as going over a few reminders of policies we have in place!

With the rising costs of everything, we have had to make some changes to the prices on the drinks and snacks. Pricing is listed on our website and on the snack shelves in the office.

We have eliminated the two Keurigs and now have a new coffee machine. Coffee will remain free, however the front desk staff will need to assist you in brewing a cup. We ask that you please do not use the machine yourselves, our staff will be happy to make you a cup of your choosing. We know that it's tempting to want to do it yourself as it's right on the lobby, we unfortunately had to hook it to a water line so there was no where else we could put it, but we ask that you respect the rules we have in place so that we don't have any issues with damaged equipment. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

Do you have a child turning 3? Or do you know someone that is? We have an entire 3rd birthday party with the theme of Clifford the Big Red Dog ready to go for anyone that would like it! We have all the decorations, a custom shirt, and goody bags ready. We are offering this party at a discounted rate. Please inquire with the office staff for more information if you or someone you know may be interested.

Our late fee policy has been updated and the new pricing will take effect for February. Team tuition is due on the 13th of the month, Recreational tuition is due on the 26th of the month, a formal demand for immediate payment of the Fees shall be sent to the Parent after the 5-day grace period offered. At the end of the 5 days, a $25 late fee will be applied to the account.  If payment is not made within 30 days of the date of dispatch of the demand, the student will not be able to attend classes until payment remitted and a $35 late fee will be applied to the account. Failure to pay within 60 days will result in the revoking of class privileges including but not limited to, the ability to remain in the assigned class and the participation in any gym shows or events. After 60 days, the non-payment will be reported to the credit bureau for collections. The Parent will be responsible for any legal costs incurred in the proceedings to recover the sums due.

Our strict 30 day cancellation policy is still being enforced. You must put your cancellation in writing via email or on paper and give it to the front desk so that it can be put into the system on the day we receive it. You are still responsible for making payment during those final 30 days. If your student does not attend class during their drop period, you still receive make-up tokens as normal and will still have 60 days to schedule them before they expire.

We would also like to remind parents to please refrain from entering the gym during class time unless you are enrolled in a Parent-Tot class. We do have cameras in the gym as well as the parent viewing room and will be happy to discuss any concerns that you may see happening during class time, however you are NOT permitted to enter our gym under any circumstances as this is an issue with safety and liability.

As a reminder, our Lion Fish and Hammer Shark Classes are now on the 2 class requirement. If your student is enrolled in either of these classes and are not scheduled more than once a week, you must see or call the front desk to add a second class. Lion Fish will be 2- 45 min classes and the cost will be $135 per month. Hammer Shark is 2- 55 min classes and the cost will be $156 per month.

Our new ADG app is live! You can download it from the Apple Store or Google Play! You will need to use the same email for the app as your JackRabbit Parent Portal as this app links directly to our Portal.

There is No School Monday, January 16th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr Day. We are hosting our Day Clinic from 8a-6p. Cost is $60 per student. Children 5yrs-12yrs are welcome and to not need to be a member to attend. We will have games, crafts and gymnastics going all day! Register on the JackRabbit Parent Portal under Events!

Everyone get excited for an upcoming announcement for our Annual Recreational Gym Show!! This year we will be hosting at Atlantic High School on the Saturday before Mother's Day! We will have some special things happening to celebrate all the amazing Moms, Grandmas, Aunts and any other wonderful woman that helps make your world go round. This year's theme will be Wild West! Be on the lookout for our Flyer coming out next week! Sign Ups will begin on February 1st and will be open to 125 students this year! The first 50 students to sign up will get an exclusive gift box

Make-up days are only available on Fridays at 6p and Saturdays at 11:45a. There is no expection for this unless your child is in Lion Fish, Dolphin(Tumbling), in a 10+ class or Level 3 as those must be made up in a normal class. June Newsletter:

Hello June, Welcome Summer!

Check out our monthly updates below.

  1. Our Summer Camp is off to a great start! We are full for every single week right now through August, but we do have a waitlist available for those that are interested in joining in some fun activities while school is out!

2.  EVERY Recreational student is REQUIRED to be checked in by a parent/guardian via one of  the three iPads that is set up outside the parent viewing room.  A valid phone number linked to the account must be used to sign in. Each student will need an adult to enter with them and check-in. Students WILL NOT be allowed to sign themselves in. Your student will not be allowed into class if a parent/guardian doesn't sign them in. If you are more than 15 minutes late, your student cannot be checked in and a make-up token will be given.

3.  After-School Pick-Up for 2022-2023 school year is completely full! We have a waitlist available if you would like to get your student added. We are only picking up at Cypress Creek, Horizon, Spruce Creek and Sweetwater Elementary Schools.

4.  If you intend to take time off for July,  you need to put in a drop now or you will continue to be charged normal tuition. We offer 2 options during summer if you wish to take a break.  Option 1. We can place your account on hold completely which means your child is dropped from their current class and you are not charged for the months they do not attend. Your child's spot in their class WILL NOT be saved and upon their return, they will be placed in an available class.  Option 2. We can reserve your child's spot in their current class for the summer which will cost $35 per month but you will not receive make-up tokens for those missed days as you are not paying for the full tuition for the class. This is strictly holding their place so that they may return to it once they come back.   If you do not let us know that you will be taking a break, you will be charged monthly as usual and you will continue to receive make-up tokens for missed classes.

5. Guest WiFi is available in the facility. Instructions on logging in are posted in the Parent Viewing Room and in the Lobby.  We  have a mobile hotspot available for current Spectrum customers. You will click on the Spectrum Free Trial and it will take you to a login screen. If you are a current Spectrum customer, you will log in with your credentials. If you are not a Spectrum customer, yo uwill log in to the Ace Daytona Guest Wifi and enter the password listed in the facility.

6.  Registration Renewal will begin on Monday, August 1st. EVERY SINGLE PARTICPANT is REQUIRED to renew for the 2022-2023 year. This includes all of Recreational Gymnastics and all of Competitive Team Gymnastics. This year renewal will be a little different and more information will be provided as we get closer to the date.

7. With inflation raising the prices on everything in the economy, we have had to follow suit to keep up with costs.  Tuition Pricing changes will take effect as of August 1st as well. All price increases will be available on our website.

8. We will be closed the week of July 4th-July 9th. July has 5 weeks so we always take this week off from Recreational and Team Classes. You are NOT being charged for this week so there will be NO MAKE-UP TOKENS given out. Summer camp will run as normal for this week, but the gym will be completely closed on Monday, July 4th for the Holiday.

9. We still run our Training Time and Friday Night Fun throughout the Summer, so join us for some fun in the gym with your friends every Friday Night from 6:00p-7:30p for Open Training Time or 6:00p-8:00p for FNF. Look for the training time emails on Friday mornings for more information!

10. We have had to make some changes to our policy on snacks. Your student is able to purchase snacks as long as they have funds pre-loaded to their account. You can add cash or you can have a set amount added with tuition monthly. We are not able to charge less than $10 on the credit card machine. If your child does not have money on their account or cash with them, they will not be able to purchase anything. We will no longer be adding snacks to a running tab. We have had too many accounts drop with snack money owed and can no longer allow this going forward.

We hope you are having a luck filled March!

Check out our new updates below.

  1. Our Under the Sea Gym Show and 1st Annual Daytona Do Right Meet was a huge success! Thank you to all of our participating gymnasts, families and volunteers. We know that it was a quite hectic with Bike Week traffic and parking, but you all helped us raise alomst $3000 for The Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Florida! That was a great accomplishment and we are so proud of all the hard work our gymnasts put in.

2.  We also wanted to send out a HUGE thank you to our amazing sponsors for our events. Please take a look at their businesses and let them know Ace Daytona Gymnastics sent you!

3.  Please make sure that we have the most updated payment information on file for you to avoid late fees and NSF fees. We have had a lot of tuition go unpaid recently due to incorrect or missing payment information. Going forward, if you are going to pay in the facility via cash, check or card, you must pay it by the 12th if your payment date is the 14th or by the 27th if your payment date is the 29th. We will also be adding the stipulation that if you are going to be paying in the facility and not on auto-pay, you must ALWAYS have one month's worth of tuition as a credit on your account available in the event that you do not come in and pay. We are trying our hardest to accommodate the needs of everyone that attends but we also need to make sure that tuition is not going unpaid.

4.  Starting April 1, 2022 we will be requiring EVERY Recreational student to be checked in by a parent via one the three iPads that will be set up outside of the parent viewing room. This new change is being set in place to help eliminate children coming in on the wrong days, tuition going unpaid (as students will not be able to attend class if there is a past due balance), or going out to class past the 15 minute grace period. There will be instructions available on how to sign-in (phone number linked to the account). Each student will need an adult to enter with them and check-in. Students WILL NOT be allowed to sign themselves in.

More in depth information on this change will be available soon!

5.   Once again, our Recreational Class Calendar does not run the same as a monthly calendar. You will always ONLY pay for  4 weeks of class time. If there are 5 weeks in a month and we close the gym to recreational classes for a week, you WILL NOT receive make-up tokens for that week, as you are NOT being charged. Spring Break was one of those closures so there will not be any make-up tokens given for those classes.  We will also be closed for the week of July 4th-July 9th, as well as August 15th- August 20th for Back To School. Make-up tokens will NOT be issued for those closures.

6.  Testing for all recreational classes will be Monday, March 21st- Saturday, April 2nd.  We will still be having our normal make- up classes on Fridays and Saturdays but we will not be able to put any students in during the week for make-ups as this disrupts testing. Coaches usually take about a week or two after testing to post all of the results to star charts and then you will be notified if your child produced the skills to move up to the next level.

7. We know that a lot of our families take vacation during the summer,  so please let us know by the end of May if you will be taking time off for break. We can put a hold on your account which keeps your child in their class with you being charged and getting the make-up tokens for those classes, or we can drop them from class completely and in August once we renew registration, you would sign them back up for whatever class(es) we have available for their level. If you do not let us know that you will be taking a break, you will be charged monthly as usual and you will continue to receive make-up tokens.

8. Summer Camp sign-ups will be available  the first week in April. We will send out an email and post the information on our Summer Camp tab once it's available! This will be first come first serve. You must pay the $30 non-refundable deposit to reserve each week you would like your child to attend. This deposit is used towards the weekly tuition. Summer Camp will run from June 6th- August 12th. There will be NO EARLY DROP this year. Camp times will be 8a-6p Monday-Friday. Please make sure that you review the Summer Camp packets thoroughly before you sign your child up for camp. There will be NO SELF-PAY option for summer camp this year. We MUST have a credit/debit card or ACH information on file for Auto-Pay in order for your child to attend camp.

As always, we appreciate every single one of our families! Thank you for being a part of Ace Daytona Gymnastics!

Good morning, Ace Daytona Families

We hope you are having a lovely February!

Just some reminders for the month.

  1. We have decided to close the Hammer Shark Level 2 class on Saturday at 12p. We didn't have any students enrolled for over a month so we made the decison to take it off the schedule.

We also closed the Parent-Tot class on Friday and Mondays class will be at 3p starting March 1st. We have kept our normal classes on Tues, Wed and Thurs. Mini Mites on Friday will be at 4p starting March 11th.  We will be saying farewell to Coach Jamie so we had to change class times and close some of her classes as well.

Great White LVL 3 will have Tuesday's class at 5:30p starting March 8th.

Tumbling classes will be as follows for March- Tuesday 3p Beginner 6-9yrs, Wednesday 4p Beg/Int 6-9yrs, Thursday 5:30p Beginner 9+ yrs, Thursday 6:30p Intermediate 8+.

2.  Payment Schedule and Fees-

All credit/debit card processing fees for autopay in the facility (when the card is not present) or online using the parent portal are subject to a 2% processing fee.  If you would like to switch to ACH via checking account to avoid the fee, please give us a call so we can update your information. Please do not pay for transactions less than $10 on the parent portal.  ACH payments as well as credit/debit card payments are withdrawn on the 14th and 29th of the month, unless this falls on a Saturday or Sunday, then they are drawn on the Friday prior. ACH transactions that are returned via NSF are subject to a $35 returned check fee as well as a $15 late fee. All credit/debit card transactions that are declined, have 5 days after due date to remit the payment or they will incur a $15 late fee.

You must pay before the deadline of the 14th or 29th if you are paying cash in the facility. This will be subject to late fees or charging the method of payment on file.

3.  Please remember that our Recreational Class Calendar does not run the same as a monthly calendar. You will always pay for ONLY 4 weeks of class time. If there are 5 weeks in a month and we close the gym to recreational classes for a week, you WILL NOT receive make-up tokens for that week, as you are NOT being charged for that week. Some of our weeks will combine the end of one month and the beginning of another. Our recreational schedule is on the wall at the front desk, as well as on the calendar on our website. If we are only closed due to a holiday or staff training, you will receive a make-up token for that missed class.

4.  Our Gym Show final payment  is due February 12, 2022. The gym show must be paid in full for your child to receive their leotard. Please don't forget that there will be a Gym Show Rehearal on Saturday, February 26th at the gym for Pre-Team, Level 1, 2, and 3. You will receive a paper will the schedule and all pertinant information this month.

5.   Spring Break Camp sign ups are open. Spring Break Camp will run March 14th-March 18th and we will be closed for recreational classes during this time. Stop by the desk or give us a call or email to sign up before it's too late. We will also have a day camp on 2/11 since school is out!

6.    Summer Camp sign-ups will not be available until the first week in April. We will send out an email and post the information on our Summer Camp tab once it's available!

February Newsletter:

Good morning, Ace Daytona Families and Happy New Year to you all!

We hope that your month is off to a great start! We wanted to open the new year with some updates and reminders for the upcoming months.

  1. We have opened several new classes to start the year.

First up is Parent-Tot, while we have kept our normal classes on Tues, Wed and Thurs; we now have a Mon at 3:30p and a Fri at 2:30p.

Mini Mites have all our regular times except Wed will now be 11:30a as well as new classes on Mon at 4p and Thurs at 5p and 5:30p.

Mighty Mites now have new classes on Mon at 6:30p, Wed at 12p, and Thurs at 2p.

Dynamites will remain the same except Fridays will now be at 5p.

Tiger Shark LVL 1 opened Mon at 3p, and a LVL 1 10+ Wed at 6p.

Hammer Shark LVL 2 opened Wed at 6p, Fri at 5p and Sat at 12p.

Great White LVL 3 will remain the same except Thurs will now be 6p.

Tumbling will be the same plus a new Beg/Int class on Wed at 4p.

2.  Next up is a reminder on Payment Schedule and Fees- Our pricing changed as of

Jan 1st per the newsletter sent out in December. The new pricing for all Recreational and After-School classes is listed on our website and in the new brochure at the front desk. Team pricing is based on the hours your gymnast is practicing and those rates are available on SportsU and at the front desk.

All credit/debit card processing fees for autopay in the facility (when the card is not present) or online using the parent portal are subject to a 2% processing fee instead of the previous $1.50. If you would like to switch to ACH via checking account to avoid the fee, please give us a call so we can update your information. Please do not pay for transactions less than $10 on the parent portal. These are also subject to processing fees as merchant services raised all their pricing as well and we are trying to keep in line with that without causing too much of an inconvenience to our customers.

3.  Training Time got an upgrade as each month will now have a theme. Every Friday night January through March will now be open to the public from 6-7:30. The 3rd Friday of the month will be 2 ½ hours of Friday Night Fun and will include a dress up theme, activities that coincide with the month’s theme as well as a take home goodie bag of some sort. We have also opened a new Member’s Only Training Time on Wednesdays from 7p-8p. There is no code needed for the Wednesday Night as it is members only and priced as such. The Open Training Times and Friday Night Fun will require a code found in the email version of this newsletter.

These offers cannot be combined with any other promo code so you must not do all of them at one time or it will not give you the discount. Discount punch cards are now available as well. Members can get 10 punches for $100, and this is good for Members Only Training Times on Wednesday Nights as well as on the Open Friday Training Times. This will not be available for the 3rd Friday Night Fun. Non-Members can also purchase a discounted punch card for $300 for 10 punches. This is good for all Open Training Times as well as Friday Night Fun.

4.  Our Gym Show signups are filling up fast. Please remember you have until January 15th to sign up for the show and to get our child sized for their custom leotard. Every student that is participating in the show MUST be sized. These leotards run different than most and we are only ordering the exact sizes the students try on. Please make sure you account for the rate in which your child grows when choosing a size. We will not be ordering extra leotards, so if they do not fit them by the March show, we will not be able to replace or refund. The $50 non-refundable deposit must be paid at the time of sign-up for your child to participate. The remainder of the balance is due February 12, 2022. The gym show must be paid in full for your child to receive their leotard.

5.  We are steadily working on Spring Break Camp as well as getting our Summer Break schedule together. Spring Break will be available to sign up in February and Summer Camp will be available after Spring Break is over, typically the first week in April. Spring Break Camp will run March 14th-March 18th and we will be closed for recreational classes during this time. Summer Camp will run from June 6th through August 12th. This is 10 full weeks of camp, only July 4th, we will not have camp for the holiday, and we will be closed for Recreational Classes the entire week of July 4th -July 9th. Keep an eye on our website as well as our email for more updates on Camps.

As always, we appreciate every single one of our families and we are looking forward to an amazing 2022! Thank you for all that you do!
